On
page 6 of the manual, paragraph "Combined attack" you can find "...select
the highest value for the attack." The correct rule is "...select
the best value for the attack." In this way, for example, if you
attack with 2 and 6 on the field and roll 2 and 5, you can choose
to use the rolled 2 on the 2 on the field, that is a "perfect attack"
and you don't lose any point!
example: if you attack with 2 and 6 against
a 3 and roll 2 and 5, you can choose to use the rolled 2 on the
2 on the field, that is a "perfect attack" and you don't lose any
point!
Otherwise you can decide to use the 5 on the 6 in order to eliminate
the opponent's dice, doing so you will lose one point (from 6 to
